I took my 2011 Honda CRV to AAMCO for transmission work. Now I know this is an older car but I love it and it's been very good to me. John kept me updated on the parts it needed and the time frame that it would be done. Any questions that I had (and I had a lot) he was always available to answer them. I have to say that my car runs just as good as it did when I first bought it! I can not thank John and the crew enough for a fabulous job! I will be taking my car to them for any other services my car may need. To finally find honest mechanics gives me such a piece of mind, and a piece of mind is priceless!
These guys are completely honest as the day is long and their work is the best! They were able to replace all of the trans parts that needed to be replaced and they saved me 50% of what a new Transmission would cost
We took our 2019 Chevy traverse to AAMCO and found out that our transmission was basically shot. We were originally going to get the transmission fluid changed, but when there was a bigger issue John was so kind and honest and went out of his way to help us understand that we should do everything we can to go through the dealership first. Apparently, this is a common issue with traverses and it’s quite disappointing. The car is no more then 6 years old and not more then 60,000 miles. He was not out to make a sale, he was genuinely honest and that is hard to find. Thanks to John and staff!
